Sandra has lived in Kamloops for the majority of her life. She graduated from Thompson Rivers University (“TRU”) in 2001, where she played both basketball and soccer while obtaining her BBA. Sandra obtained her Chartered Accountant designation in 2004 and then successfully completed the CPA Canada’s In-Depth Taxation Course. After working for a national accounting firm for 5 years, Sandra joined Daley & Company CPA LLP in 2006. Sandra appreciates the quality of service, expertise, and client relationships provided by the partners and accounting professionals at Daley and Company CPA LLP.
Sandra advises small and medium size business owners in a variety of matters. Her specialized areas of focus include corporate tax compliance, trust compliance, personal tax compliance, the B.C. PST, the GST, estate planning, planning for tax minimization, corporate reorganizations, business purchases and sales, and Canada Revenue Agency audits.
Sandra values the importance of being involved in the community and enjoys spending time volunteering for various organizations and at various events. Sandra is a member of the TRU Board of Governors, the Chair of the Audit Committee for the TRU Board of Governors, a Director and member of the Rotary Club of Kamloops Daybreak, a Director of the Kamloops Brain Injury Association, and a high school basketball coach. She is a past Director of the TRU Sports Task Force, the Kamloops Food Bank, and the Central (Downtown) Business Improvement Association. She was awarded the Community Service Award in 2014 from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of BC, as well as the City of Kamloops Distinguished Service Award in 2013.
