Mike advises small and medium size business owners in matters of taxation, accounting, risk management, financing and strategic planning. He obtained his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Victoria in 1998 and his Chartered Accountant designation in 2002. He successfully completed the CPA Canada’s In-Depth Taxation Course. Mike worked for a large national accounting firm prior to becoming a partner at Daley & Company LLP Chartered Professional Accountants in 2005. In 2009 Mike was awarded the Early Achievement Award from the B.C. Institute of Chartered Accountants for his success and leadership in the industry.
Mike has extensive experience with business purchases and sales, planning for tax minimization, corporate reorganizations, corporate and personal tax compliance, Canada Revenue Agency audits, estate planning and financing.
Mike lends his talents and time to many community groups - he is currently a high school basketball coach. Mike is a past member of the Drug Benefit Council of BC, past Vice Chair of the Thompson Rivers University Board of Governors, and a Past President of the Kamloops West Rotary Club.
